For most people, bread remains one of the biggest sources of dietary salt, so it’s a great place to start if you’re trying to reduce your salt intake. This recipe works fine in a bread maker, admittedly, it doesn’t taste as good without salt…but fillings can sort this out easily. This recipe has almost no salt and makes a 750g loaf.
Ingredients
300g wholemeal flour 150g strong white flour 7 g of bread maker yeast 280 ml water 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil Here’s a tip, use olive oil instead of butter and margarine, that way if you have a spread with flavor (salt) you will still be eating much less salt by comparison to a normal sandwich.
