About Health is a New Zealand supplement company that Dan King founded in 2006. It all started when Dan created a natural health formula for his mother Jillian, who was struggling with serious health and mobility issues. When the formula dramatically improved her quality of life, her friends wanted to try it too —and that's when Dan decided to launch About Health to help other Kiwis.

What type of fish is used in Lester's Oil?
In our Lester's Oil, we use three types of fish: anchovies, sardines, and mackerel. These fish are carefully selected for their high omega-3 content, ensuring you get a potent and high-quality product.
Do your products contain allergens (gluten, dairy, soy, nuts?)
Our supplements are formulated to be as low-allergen as possible. Most do not contain common allergens, but please check the individual product pages for full ingredient and allergen information. If you're unsure, feel free to get in touch.
Are your supplements suitable for vegetarians or vegans?
Some of our supplements are suitable for vegetarians, and a few may work for vegans too, but it depends on the specific product.

Do your supplements contain filler, preservatives or artificial colours?
About Health focuses on creating clean, quality formulas with premium ingredients. We don't add unnecessary fillers or artificial preservatives. Some products may contain natural colours or vitamin E (which acts as a natural preservative for omega-3s), but these serve a functional purpose rather than being added as cheap fillers.

Do you ship across New Zealand?
Yes, we do ship nationwide across New Zealand. Shipping is $7.50 for orders under $99.99, and free for orders $100 and over.

Click and collect from our Auckland Office is free. Available on weekdays from 9am-4pm. Excludes public holidays.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide! Please note that custom duties and taxes may apply and are not customer's responsibility.

How long does delivery take?
If you’re in Auckland, you can also arrange click and collect Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm by contacting our team on 0800 999 309 or info@abouthealth.co.nz to arrange this.
For international customers, delivery times vary depending on your location. Most international orders take between 7-14 business days.
Can I buy About Health supplements in store?
Yes! Our products are available in select Unichem and Life Pharmacies, and Health 2000 stores across New Zealand. Use our stockist finder to locate your nearest store.
Does About Health offer click-and-collect or local pickup in Auckland?
Yes, About Health offers a completely free click-and-collect service for local Auckland customers. You can collect your order directly from our Auckland office located in Penrose on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM (excluding New Zealand public holidays). To arrange a pickup time, please contact our customer care team at 0800 999 309 or via email.
How do I track my order?
Once your order leaves our Penrose warehouse in Auckland, you will receive an automated dispatch email from NZ Post containing your unique tracking link. For the most efficient management of your delivery, New Zealand customers can use the NZ Post tracking tool to subscribe to email alerts, provide special delivery instructions to your local courier, or redirect the parcel to a designated NZ Post Pick Up Point.
